Mike Weatherford has spent his life in Laurens County. He is a farmer, local businessman, husband, father and grandfather. He owns Weatherford Poultry & Cattle, where dependable work is part of everyday life.

His background spans poultry and cattle farming, rental property, automobile sales and fence posts. Mike is running for Area 1, Seat 2 on the PRTC Board of Directors.

Drive-through annual meeting and voting, 8:30 a.m. to noon at Laurens Middle School.

Voting information

PRTC members: please vote for Mike Weatherford for Area 1, Seat 2.

The two open board seats are Area 1, Seat 2 and Area 2, Seat 3. PRTC members may vote for one candidate in each seat. Mike is running for Area 1, Seat 2.

Drive-through entrance: At the Laurens County Library, 1017 West Main Street. Follow PRTC's signs and traffic directions.

Keep the notice/card PRTC mails you. Bring it and a photo ID. PRTC exchanges the card for your voting ballot at the meeting; arriving without a valid notice/card will not let you vote.

Can my spouse vote on election day?

Yes. A spouse living in the same household and at the same service address as the account holder may vote on the account holder's behalf. The spouse must bring the mailed annual-meeting notice/card and photo ID.

Lost or missing notice?

Notices begin mailing October 21; allow several days for delivery. Request a replacement notice/card from PRTC by noon Friday, November 6. Pick it up with ID at PRTC's business-office drive-through, 201 Anderson Drive, Laurens, by 5 p.m. that day. A spouse in the same household may pick it up with ID, subject to PRTC verification. New replacement notices will not be issued on November 7.

All PRTC members who vote may choose one candidate for each of the two open board seats, including Area 1, Seat 2. Follow PRTC's official notice for voting instructions.
